The Nishtum Kikinoamatowin Headstart Program is designed to prepare young community children for their school years, by meeting their emotional, social, health, nutritional and psychological needs.

This initiative encourages the development of projects that are comprised of the following program components: culture and language, education, health promotion, nutrition, social support and parental involvement.

The local program offers a one day preschool experience to children ages 0-5 who are accompanied by a parent or caregiver. We provide transportation to and from the Headstart building. To sign up your child, please contact the Headstart Coordinator below.
